Now I'm borrowing my mother's, 'cuz she rocks...

Here's a funny thing to do... Take any book off the shelf and flip through randomly for a line. Use it as a signature. :)

'Course, I don't expect everybody to do this if they don't want to, but I think it'd be fun to see how obscure or interesting we could get with whatever lines we come across. If you like, you could post them here- with or without the title of the book, either way is good.

"...But the Doctors who 'Imponderables' consulted indicated that reclining for long periods of time will worsen symptoms- one reason why we often feel lousy despite the 'Luxury' of being able to lie in bed all day when we are sick." :) From "When Do Fish Sleep? And Other Imponderables of Everyday Life, by David Feldman, Circa 1989.

;)

Gawd, I'd thought I'd updated this thing more recently than that. Oh wellz.

Over the months I've noticed on how people will take the time to visit the person who favorited whatever they had in their gallery and comment on their profile. I, however, scarcely do this, so now I'm thinkin' "Holy moley, I am TOTALLY behind on my appreciation thingy messages".

SO... I would just like to take the time to let EVERYBODY know who has ever randomly favorited something of mine that I APPRECIATE IT VERY MUCH. No seriously. THANK YOU ALL!!! I wub it. I 'preciate it. *Blows kisses* ;)

Beatles Anthology

Wed Mar 21, 2007, 11:02 AM
Has anybody else ever listened or heard of the Beatles Anthology Discs? They're fairly recently-discovered old takes of certain Beatles songs put onto CDs. I think it's really fascinating to hear these famous, set-in-stone songs that will and have gone down in history, still in the making. It's even better when you realize that all of these songs came together by a couple of guys basically goofing off and screwing around. There's one take of "And Your Bird Can Sing" where they're just singing off-key and giggling like schoolkids. You gotta love it. :)

God, I'm bored. But Oh Em Gee, it's freakin' SPRING! We have had just like, one of the coldest winters, like ever. Seriously. You couldn't stay warm in your heated house. But now it's fairly warm and it's RAIIIIIINING......!

Anyway. What's the weather like outside where you be livin'?

  • Listening to: And Your Bird Can Sing, The Beatles
  • Reading: Lions and Tigers and Crocs, Oh My!
  • Watching: Still Scrubs. Lots o' Scrubs. I have. No life
  • Playing: With my head
  • Eating: Dried Bing Cherries- deliciously addictive
  • Drinking: Nothin' but air.

"You- rat bastard!" "Yes, I am.&

I love taking things utterly literally. :)

Like the phrase "bastard". Means "Somebody who was born unto parents unmarried." I'm paraphrasing, here.

So doesn't that mean... that every male animal alive (if you're not counting the ones born to animals married by their obsessed owners in the backyard), is a bastard?

I've always considered that a little unfair....

Haha... Try saying "Utterly literally" ten times fast... ;)

  • Listening to: I have no idea
  • Reading: "The Perks of Being a Wallflower"
  • Watching: Scrubs is still my heroine. Yes, indeedy
  • Playing: Dunno
  • Eating: Tasty onions
  • Drinking: *Deep breath*....
